In January 2014, Jessie was diagnosed with leukemia. It was a hard battle, but Jessie managed to beat it. But the cancer returned in her kidneys, and Jessie was in a coma for both her birthday and Christmas. Despite her courage and strength, Jessie lost her battle in September of 2017 at just 11 years old.
