Sam Day

In September of 2010, Sam was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. He endured so much: hair loss, nausea, weight loss, bone pain, amputation, mouth sores, and the loss of friendships and social experiences. With a compromised immune system, new tumors appeared as soon as others were surgically removed. Sam passed on August 27, 2016 at the age of 15. Through the Sam Day Foundation, his family continues to raise money for research for rare childhood cancers.
