This is Sevai, our bright & beautiful middle girl. She’s the type to play outside and be with her friends. She loves to play basketball, soccer, volleyball, or just making Tik Tok videos with her friends & family. She’s the best helper when it comes to her younger twin sisters and anyone else she sees that needs love.

We discovered in early July 2019 that she had a large lump on her left outer thigh. She had complained before of pain behind her knee, but doctors and I passed it off as growing pains. A simple twist and fall from kicking around a soccer ball changed all that.

We discovered that she has Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, on August 7, 2019. Everything has changed since then. But you know what hasn’t changed? My daughter’s sassiness. She has done a few rounds of chemotherapy and is going to have surgery in a week to remove the tumor and put a prosthesis in place. She will then finish the rest of her chemotherapy. We are so proud of how far she has come and has yet to overcome. Our Brave Strong Sevai.
